 Mr. Ameen is also the Lead Consultant of Ruhul Ameen & Co. (Cost & management Accountancy Firm)  and  Former Managing Director & CEO of Bangladesh Thai Aluminium Limited (BTA) where he served till March 2019 Presently he is the Independent Director of BD THAI ALUMINIUM and BD THAI FOOD & BEVERAGES LTD. TAUFIKA FOOD & BEVERAGES LTD He is now promoting social security as the franchise partner and Unit Manager of Sonali Life Insurance, Gulshan Metro, since 21 June 2020. He is the Founder and President of the Bangladesh Sports Shoes Manufacturers & Exporters Association(BSSMEA) a trade organization like Under FBCCI.

Before joining BTA he served Excelsior Shoes Ltd (ESL) for 25 years. He joined the ESL in 1990 as its Marketing Manager and in 1995 he was promoted as the Deputy Managing Director of the company till mid-May 2015. The Company's Board inducted him as a Director in the same year. 

Before his joining ESL he held very senior positions in many local, multinational, and foreign companies like BEXIMCO Foods Ltd, SIAMS Superior(HK) Ltd, and PMP Group.
